A huge well done to the six students who travelled to London on Friday to represent Pilton in the final of the prestigious Mandarin Speaking Competition, held at the SOAS University on Russell Square. Their film was shown to an audience of two hundred people and two students had to answer questions from the judges about their presentation in Mandarin. They answered fluently and confidently and did themselves proud. Despite not winning, they came back buzzing with ideas for their entry into next year's competition! It was also a fantastic experience to be in London the day before the King's coronation and have the chance to soak up the atmosphere.
